Misfit

Misfit is a collection of images, objects, and video depicting the uneasiness and inner conflict arising from living in a foreign culture.

An awkward pose. An unintelligible sign. A judgmental gaze. Conversations with words that I don’t quite understand. The discord these fragments cause have become my muse.

All of the images, taken in Monaco with a digital camera, are not manipulated. They are random moments and objects that I witnessed during my wanderings in the streets over a period of 10 years.
