Misfit is a collection of images and objects depicting the uneasiness and inner conflict of living in a foreign culture. 

I don’t always understand

the rules of this place. 

My values, language and mores were formed elsewhere and they tinker away in the back of my mind like an inescapable soundtrack doing battle with the culture that is here. 

Over time, the fragments of my not belonging here have become my muse.
